AlbumsRadar - Terms & Conditions

1. Account Creation & Usage

To use AlbumsRadar, you must register an account using your name (or nickname), email, and password. We do not verify email ownership and you are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.

2. Features

Free Users may track ("add to radar") up to 10 artists. Supporter Subscription Users can track an unlimited number of artists. Supporter status is obtained via Apple's In-App Purchase system and subject to Apple's payment terms.

3. Subscription Terms

• Subscriptions are billed via Apple and managed through your Apple ID.
• Payments are charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage your subscription and auto-renewal settings in your Apple ID account.

4. Push Notifications

With your permission, the App will send push notifications to notify you about new album releases from tracked artists. You can manage or disable notifications at any time via your iPhone settings.

5. Public Data Sources

AlbumsRadar uses the following public APIs to deliver artist and album data:

• Apple Music API: For artist and album search
• Spotify API: For new album detection

We cannot guarantee completeness or timeliness of data, as we rely on third-party sources.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for unlawful purposes.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, tamper, or misuse the App or its API connections.
• Impersonate another user or provide false information.

7. Account Deletion

You can delete your account directly from the app. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed from our database.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or use the App in an abusive or harmful way.

9. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any damages or loss resulting from:

• Inaccurate or missing album data.
• Disruptions or downtime in service.
• Subscription issues outside our control (Apple's billing system).

10. Third-Party Media and Attribution

AlbumsRadar displays album artwork and artist photos by directly referencing public image URLs provided by the Apple Music and Spotify APIs. These images are:

• Displayed unchanged and as provided.
• Not stored, copied, or modified in any way.
• Used solely for personal, non-commercial user display within the app.

To improve performance and reduce bandwidth usage, the app may temporarily cache album artwork and artist images. These images are not stored permanently and are not modified in any way.

1. What We Collect

We collect your name (nickname allowed), email address, and password (securely encrypted). We do not collect any additional personal data.

2. What We Don't Do

• We do not track your behavior.
• We do not sell, share, or transmit your data to third parties.
• We do not use third-party analytics or advertising tools.

3. Push Notifications

With your consent, we send notifications about new album releases. You can disable notifications in your device settings.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely. Only non-personalized error logs may be collected for debugging, and they contain no identifying information.

5. Use of Third-Party APIs

AlbumsRadar displays album artwork and artist images using direct links from the Apple Music and Spotify APIs. These images are not downloaded or stored by the app. The app does not modify or collect any data related to these images.

6. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time directly within the app. All user data will be permanently removed upon deletion.

7. Children

AlbumsRadar is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. If changes are significant, we will notify you via the app or email.
